    AMA Supercross Watch Party

    Join QC Moto for a Supercross Watch Party series at BYOPizza in downtown Springfield. We'll have the weekly Supercross events live streaming on five large flat screen TVs, have bikes on display, feature food and drink specials, and have a raffle for a GoPro Hero 4.     Third Annual Seize the Day 5K and 1 Mile Walk

    Seize the Day 5k is a family friendly event which raises money to benefit The Epilepsy Foundation of MO & KS. We need your help to continue the fight to stop seizures. One in 26 people are diagnosed with epilepsy. It is estimated to affect more than 250,000 children and adults in Missouri & Kansas. Please help us win the fight for people in our community that are challenged with seizures.

    The 2017 Go Girl Run presented by GYN Cancer Alliance is coming back to Springfield on April 15th, ready to make a BIG difference and improve the lives of women!     Springfield Day of Dance

    Join Springfield Dance Alliance as we celebrate the diverse styles of dance in Southwest Missouri during the first ever Springfield Day of Dance. This event is FREE and open to dancers, beginner to advanced, age 7 and up! Get your feet off the ground with aerial dance, spin round with a partner during contra dance, try belly dancing for the first time or step to the beat with Irish, clogging, and hip hop. Short performances as well as a brief question and answer session with workshop instructors follow each class. Classes taught by MSU Aerialists, Motion Playlist, Phenomenon Studio, Traditional Music and Dance Society of the Ozarks, Pat’s Clogging Studio/Celtic Fire Irish Dance Co.. Registration Required!

    FREE Boys Workshop

    This FREE workshop, taught by a male instructor, offers dance instruction and conditioning exercises to increase balance, coordination, agility and overall strength. It is no secret among professional athletes that a strong connection exists between dance movement and athleticism. From increased flexibility to use of muscles that can’t be worked in a weight room, see the results for yourself by giving this workshop a shot!

    Attire for the workshop is gym clothes that participants can move in, with socks.

    14th Annual Monett Golf Tournament

    More than 100 golfers are expected at the 14th Annual Monett Golf Tournament. All proceeds benefit The Arc’s programs in Barry and Lawrence counties. “We are so appreciative of the support we have received from the Monett community for this tournament,” stated Monett Program Director Sarah Meredith.

    Lunch will be served at 11:30 a.m. with a shotgun start at 12:30 p.m. for the four-man teams. Participants can register as an individual or as a team of four. Fees are $60 for players with their own cart and $70 for golfers needing a cart. Sponsorship packages are still available.

    Last year, 24 teams came out to support The Arc of the Ozarks in Barry and Lawrence counties. The winning team, featuring Ric Juett, Steven Woody, Layne Woody and Ryan Eaton, took 1st in the Championship-Flight with a score of 51.     The area's largest, most spectacular street rod event with more than 2,200 cars classified as a vehicles that are 30 years old and older. Enjoy kids' and adult games, arts and crafts, an auto swap meet and a church service on Sunday.

    2017 Raptor Run

    Bring the family for a night of fun to help fund the Missouri Institute of Natural Science and Riverbluff Cave! Run or walk the 5K and/or Fun Run and stick around for free tours of the museum in addition to activities (some just fun, some educational!) for the kids. Enjoy the museum grounds on this sure to be Spectacular Spring Evening! Complete with fossil dig for kids, popcorn, snacks and other entertainment. For more information on the museum or the cave visit to register for the run visit The funds from this fundraiser will go to the museum and to aid continuation of the search for fossils within Riverbluff Cave. In addition, donations will aid in partnering with area schools to offer educational experiences to local students on Missouri’s natural history and its fragile ecosystem.
