    AMA Supercross Watch Party

    Join QC Moto for a Supercross Watch Party series at BYOPizza in downtown Springfield. We'll have the weekly Supercross events live streaming on five large flat screen TVs, have bikes on display, feature food and drink specials, and have a raffle for a GoPro Hero 4.     Springfield Roller Girls at the Shrine!

    Double-Header at the Shrine Mosque, 601 E Saint Louis St., Springfield, MO

    Local roller derby teams, Springfield Roller Girls All-Stars, to host 580 Rollergirls from Lawton, OK. Battle Broads to host Salina Sirens Roller Derby from Salina, OK. Doors open at 5:00 p.m.. First whistle starts at 6:00 p.m.. Tickets are FREE with Preferred Seating upgrades available for purchase.

    Founded in 2006, the Springfield Roller Girls is a league of skaters, volunteers, and referees who are dedicated to growing the sport of roller derby, as well as being active in the community and supporting the health of local women. The Springfield Roller Girls are members of the Women’s Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA), the governing body for women’s amateur flat track roller derby, consisting of over 200 all-female, skater-owned-and-operated leagues internationally.

    Community partner for this event is Better Life in Recover. This organization is dedicated to helping those who struggle with substance use and mental health issues through numerous positive outlets in the community. You can learn more about them at

    14th Annual Monett Golf Tournament

    More than 100 golfers are expected at the 14th Annual Monett Golf Tournament. All proceeds benefit The Arc’s programs in Barry and Lawrence counties. “We are so appreciative of the support we have received from the Monett community for this tournament,” stated Monett Program Director Sarah Meredith.

    Lunch will be served at 11:30 a.m. with a shotgun start at 12:30 p.m. for the four-man teams. Participants can register as an individual or as a team of four. Fees are $60 for players with their own cart and $70 for golfers needing a cart. Sponsorship packages are still available.

    Last year, 24 teams came out to support The Arc of the Ozarks in Barry and Lawrence counties. The winning team, featuring Ric Juett, Steven Woody, Layne Woody and Ryan Eaton, took 1st in the Championship-Flight with a score of 51.     MU Alumni Golf Classic presented by Great Southern Bank

    Join the Greater Ozarks chapter of the University of Missouri Alumni Association as it hosts its annual scholarship and auction presented by Meyer Farms, KWTO & KTXR HD.

    The Tiger Ball & Scholarship Auction is Thursday, May 4 at the Oasis Hotel & Convention center in north Springfield, and be sure to sign up for the next-day Mizzou Alumni Golf Classic presented by Great Southern Bank at Millwood Golf & Racquet Club.     Hurts Donut Run

    Hurts Donuts invites you to participate in the 1st ever Hurts Donut Run! Come join the fun on May 13 beginning at 10am in Springfield, MO. This event is open to persons of all ages and abilities. Come to run the course or simply walk the trail with your friends and family and enjoy a spring morning and celebrate Hurts Donuts!

    Enjoy fresh, hot donuts at the finish line. Freshly brewed coffee will also be served along with other refreshments. Run til it Hurts! We can't wait to see you on Saturday morning, May 13th!

    The area's largest, most spectacular street rod event with more than 2,200 cars classified as a vehicles that are 30 years old and older. Enjoy kids' and adult games, arts and crafts, an auto swap meet and a church service on Sunday.

    2017 Raptor Run

    Bring the family for a night of fun to help fund the Missouri Institute of Natural Science and Riverbluff Cave! Run or walk the 5K and/or Fun Run and stick around for free tours of the museum in addition to activities (some just fun, some educational!) for the kids. Enjoy the museum grounds on this sure to be Spectacular Spring Evening! Complete with fossil dig for kids, popcorn, snacks and other entertainment. For more information on the museum or the cave visit to register for the run visit The funds from this fundraiser will go to the museum and to aid continuation of the search for fossils within Riverbluff Cave. In addition, donations will aid in partnering with area schools to offer educational experiences to local students on Missouri’s natural history and its fragile ecosystem.

    Access to Health 5k Run/Walk

    Updated from the Bentley Fund 5k, the Access to Health 5k Run/Walk is a community wide event aimed at increasing physical activity for all ages. Proceeds will continue to provide accessible and integrated care to members of the communities Jordan Valley Community Health Center serves. New this year: Finisher medals and prize drawings for finishers after the race. Awards will be given to the top three in each age division and to the Overall Male and Female and Masters Male and Female.
