    Missouri National Open Karate and Grappling Tournament

    Karate/Martial Arts Competition/Tournament. Division's include, sparring, weapons, forms, musical forms and grappling. 13 Grand Champions and 13 Runner-Up Grand Champions. Open to all styles. Spectators will see all ages, styles and levels of Martial Arts competition. Great talent from 7 states as well as local. Competitors range in age from 3 to 70+. Competitors will enjoy the level of competition and awards. Trophies for 1st thru 3rd. Affordable fun for the entire family.

    AMA Supercross Watch Party

    Join QC Moto for a Supercross Watch Party series at BYOPizza in downtown Springfield. We'll have the weekly Supercross events live streaming on five large flat screen TVs, have bikes on display, feature food and drink specials, and have a raffle for a GoPro Hero 4. Gather with friends for an exciting night of motocross action, food, drinks, and fun!

    FREE Boys Workshop

    This FREE workshop, taught by a male instructor, will offer dance instruction and conditioning exercises to increase balance, coordination, agility and overall strength. It is no secret among professional athletes that a strong connection exists between dance movement and athleticism. From increased flexibility to use of muscles that can’t be worked in a weight room, see the results for yourself by giving this workshop a shot!

    Attire for the workshop is gym clothes that participants can move in, with socks.

    Springfield Roller Girls Season Opener

    SPRINGFIELD ROLLER GIRLS SEASON OPENER

    All Stars vs Roughneck Roller Derby of Tulsa, OK

    Battle Broads vs Tulsa County Roller Derby Valkyries of Tulsa, OK

    Local roller derby team, Springfield Roller Girls, to host Roughneck Roller Derby and Tulsa County Roller Derby Valkyries, both of Tulsa, OK. Doors open at 5:00 pm with the first whistle at 6:00 PM. Our Community Partner for this game with be Galagxy, a youth outreach group dedicated to the LGBTQ community, based out of the GLO Center here in Springfield, MO.

    Join us at Billiards across the street for the after-party immediately following the game! New for our 2017 season: Admission to our bouts will be free of charge. Season tickets and Preferred Seating upgrades will be available for purchase. Halftime entertainment & intermission games and activities for all ages, makes this a great family night out. 

    Founded in 2006, Springfield Roller Girls is a league of skaters, volunteers, and referees who are dedicated to growing the sport of roller derby, while being active in the community and supporting the health of local women. 
    SRG is a proud member of the Women’s Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA), the governing body for Women’s amateur flat track roller derby, consisting of over 300 all-female, skater-owned-and-operated leagues
    internationally.

    The Summit Parent Organization is hosting our first ever Summit Miniature Golf Tournament held at Springfield's iconic Fun Acre Miniature Golf Course! Teams of four will compete in this family friendly event to see who will win the honor of being the GREATEST miniature golfers!

    Third Annual Seize the Day 5K and 1 Mile Walk

    Seize the Day 5k is a family friendly event which raises money to benefit The Epilepsy Foundation of MO & KS. We need your help to continue the fight to stop seizures. One in 26 people are diagnosed with epilepsy. It is estimated to affect more than 250,000 children and adults in Missouri & Kansas. Please help us win the fight for people in our community that are challenged with seizures.

    Go Girl Run Half Marathon & 5K

    The 2017 Go Girl Run presented by GYN Cancer Alliance is coming back to Springfield on April 15th, ready to make a BIG difference and improve the lives of women! With a brand new race site, course, expo, colors and medals, this is a race you will not want to miss. Get a group of your girlfriends or even co-workers together and enter the event. The time you spend training, socializing, and eventually racing could be the best time you spend during the year! The Go Girl Run will be a true celebration of friendship and sisterhood! Every detail of this event will be planned with the woman in mind. The 2017 Go Girl Run supports GYN Cancer Alliance, Great Circle and Shiner’s Hospitals

    The area's largest, most spectacular street rod event with more than 2,200 cars classified as a vehicles that are 30 years old and older. Enjoy kids' and adult games, arts and crafts, an auto swap meet and a church service on Sunday.

    Conservation Marathon Relay - Bass Pro Shops Outdoor Fitness Festival

    Relay teams are comprised of five members, running or walking a distance from 3.10 miles to 7.5 miles in order to complete a full 26.2 marathon. The first and third team members will run 10Ks while the second and fourth members complete a 5K each. The final team member will run a 12K. The marathon relay continues to appeal to families, friends, co-workers and organizations looking to build relationships and teamwork. Marathon Relay divisions include: Men’s Business, Women’s Business, Coed Business, Family & Friends Men, Family & Friends Women, Family & Friends Coed, Organization Challenge team, and the Battle of the Badges team.
