    Advanced Arm Balances

Are you looking for a new challenge? In this workshop you'll explore arm balance variations and transitions to work into your flow and build your power. Arm balances are liberating postures that teach us not only about our intrinsic strength but about our innate playfulness, courage, fearlessness and agility. You'll work hard, but it will be fun, and you'll have plenty of opportunities to rest and breathe.

This workshop is directed towards adventurous yogis who are ready to take flight. We’ll begin with a Vinyasa based warm-up emphasizing the cornerstones of successful arm balances before exploring several arm balances in deeper detail.

This is a 2 hour workshop that explores the foundations of arm balancing, and gives you tips and tricks to get your wings open and your body off the ground. We'll spend time in some of the most accessible arm balances, working our way towards more advanced balances and transition options.

Bring your questions and take home a refreshed spirit and richer awareness of these striking asanas.

Led by Jamie Strong, RYT 200
Jamie is a RYT 200 certified yoga instructor and rock climbing enthusiast. In 2015 she completed a 40-hour Ashtanga teacher training intensive in Kansas City. Jamie has been practicing Yoga of various styles since 2013 and has continued her education with workshops from teachers such as Kino MacGregor, David Swenson, Dylan Werner, and others.
