Bass Pro Tournament of Champions

Held annually in January, the Bass Pro Tournament of Champions is the #1 attended High School Basketball Tournament in America. The tournament is played at JQH Arena in Springfield. Past participants such as Alonzo Mourning, & Lamar Odom have went on to fame in the NBA. The tournament annually features some of the top basketball talent in the country.

National Christian Homeschool Basketball Championships

One of the largest sporting events that the city of Springfield plays host to is the National Christian Homeschool Basketball Championships. Held in Springfield since 2009, the NCHBC crowns champions in the sport of basketball in March. Nearly 350 teams from over 30 states compete in Springfield for one week of competition. The tournament results in over 800 games being played at 30 different courts in the Springfield region. Invitational Presented By Bass Pro Shops

Built Ford Tough Professional Bull Riding Series

The 2011 Invitational consists of three rounds of competition with the first two rounds featuring the top 40 bull riders matched against the PBR's toughest bulls. Held on the Missouri State University campus at JQH Arena, 2011 marks the third consecutive year this nationally televised event has been in Springfield.

Price Cutter Charity Championship presented by Dr Pepper

The John Q. Hammons Foundation, based in Springfield, MO and operating in the Missouri Sports Hall of Fame serves as the host organization for the acclaimed Price Cutter Charity Championship presented by Dr Pepper on the Nationwide Tour. 2011 marks the 21st Anniversary for the tournament. The PCCC is one of four Nationwide Tour tournaments that have been around all 21 years. Highland Springs Country Club is the host venue for this annual event.
