Evangel Athletics Hosts Summer Sports Broadcasting Workshop

SPRINGFIELD — The Evangel University Department of Athletics is excited to announce the first Summer Sports Broadcasting Workshop hosted on the Evangel Campus, Monday, July 11.
The first Workshop welcomes small college and high school administrators that are looking to improve their school’s sports broadcasts and web streams. In addition to a day full of speakers with broadcasting and web streaming experience, Hometown Ticketing has also partnered with the Workshop as a provider of digital ticketing needs for every school department.
The Workshop will feature a keynote Q&A from Oklahoma Sooners football sideline reporter and Sooner softball play-by-play voice Chris Plank. Plank also hosts a weekly nationally syndicated show on Fox Sports Radio. Helping moderate will be Missouri Sports Hall of Fame broadcaster Art Hains. Hains is the Voice of the Missouri State Bears and is also a member of the Kansas City Chiefs Radio Network team.
